Parent Information & Policies
These policies are in place to ensure a safe, positive, and well-organized experience for all participants in the Primitive Fit Afterschool Program. By registering, parents/guardians agree to the following:
Program Participation
Primitive Fit programs are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and engaging. Children are encouraged to participate to the best of their ability in all activities. Activities are age-appropriate, with an emphasis on movement, confidence, and teamwork.
Attendance & Absences
Regular attendance is encouraged to support consistency and program flow.
If a child will be absent, parents/guardians are asked to notify Primitive Fit in advance via email or phone call whenever possible.
Behaviour Expectations
Primitive Fit promotes a respectful, safe, and supportive environment. Participants are expected to:
Follow instructor guidance
Respect fellow participants and staff
Participate safely and appropriately
If a child repeatedly displays unsafe or disruptive behaviour, parents/guardians will be contacted. Continued behaviour concerns may result in removal from the program. In such cases, refunds will not be provided.
Pick-Up & Dismissal Policy
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children are picked up promptly at the scheduled program end time.
Children will only be released according to school and program procedures.
Late pickups exceeding 10 minutes may be subject to a late pickup fee.
Repeated late pickups may result in removal from the program.
Health, Injury & Safety
Primitive Fit takes reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety.
Minor injuries will be treated on-site using basic first aid.
Parents/guardians will be notified as soon as possible if an injury occurs.
In the event of a serious injury or medical emergency, emergency services (911) will be contacted immediately.
Parents/guardians are responsible for informing Primitive Fit of any medical conditions, allergies, or special considerations at the time of registration.
Payment & Refund Policy
Program fees are due as outlined on the issued invoice.
Payments are non-refundable once the program session has begun.
Refunds requested prior to the program start date may be issued at the discretion of Primitive Fit.
Missed classes due to absence are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions.
Program Changes or Cancellations
Primitive Fit reserves the right to modify schedules, staffing, or programming when necessary. In the event of program cancellation by Primitive Fit, families will be notified as soon as possible and appropriate refunds or credits will be issued.
